MDE-SV Military Utilization

The MDE-SV Surveillance Vehicle is electric powered and therefore has an essentially zero sound signature. This feature allows the vehicle to approach and surprise enemy emplacements without audible detection like no other UGV in the military arsenal. Under cover of darkness, GPS guided and with IR visual penetration the SV can laser-range find or laser-designate an enemy object without discovery.

In another configuration, the SV Elevation Surveillance Arm (SEA) is replaced with either a tactical rocket launch pod or M60 machine gun mount that can optically IR target and fire at enemy threats. These armament features reduce exposure of ground troops to enemy fire.

The SV is teleoperated and has autonomous control utilizing subcontractor Omnitech Robotics Intn'l LLC STS or SRS teleportation system. This system utilizes Omnitech COMPASS (Compact Outdoor Multipurpose Pose Assessment System) Integrating GPS, LNS (Land Navigation System) and INS (Inertial Navigation System) to provide highly accurate vehicle positioning orientation, extremely critical in a combat zone.
